Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions apply to all transactions through either Cestrian Signs Ltd or safetysignsuk.co.uk. By using this site your are accepting our terms and conditions. Please print a copy for future reference if required. Our business sells goods that are generally targeted at and used by businesses rather than consumers. It is important to note that should your order be placed with delivery to a place of business or invoiced to a place of business or other grounds for us to deem the order as a B2B transaction (business-related goods), your rights will be deemed that of a business customer and not of a consumer and not be covered by standard consumer protection rights. If you are ordering as a non-B2B customer, i.e. as a consumer, you must inform us in your order comments or by email and we will notify you if we consider your purchase to be protected by standard consumer protection rights.
Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights in any way. You must be eighteen years or more to order from our web sites.

Cestrian Signs Ltd cannot guarantee the accuracy or reliability of the web site or how the individual may use the web site.
Payments and Pricing
All the prices on the web site are exclusive of vat and delivery. If an error is found on the website we are entitled to make adjustments to the account with prior notification to the customer. If errors cause the cancellation of such orders after payment has been received full refund will be given.
If any products are unavailable we will inform you at the time of order confirmation. We are not responsible for compensation for losses you may suffer due to incomplete orders.
Delivery and Passing of Risk
All delivery times and dates are approximate. All liability for the goods is passed to the Customer after being received by themselves or a third party.
Deliveries can only be made to ground floor or easy access as per couriers discretion.
All charges can be viewed on checkout. Addition charges will be incurred for Northern Ireland(BT), Isle of Man(IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles(PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles(HS, ZE). We cannot guarantee delivery timescales for non-mainland addresses.
Express - If ordered before 1pm Monday to Friday, UK mainland delivery of stock items will normally be made on the next working day from clearance of payment (with the exception of printed/manufactured signs). If we are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 14 days for dispatch of the goods. For delays of more than 14 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.
Standard - Please allow 3-5 days delivery.
For custom/printed goods please allow up to five business days for processing of an order once your artwork is approved. It is your responsibility to respond to emails in a timely manner to help jobs progress quickly. We will always try to place orders with 'express' delivery higher in the print queue as part of the express service. If your order is desperately needed by a certain date, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your order.
Notification of Claims
It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be notified to us within 10 days from delivery.
It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 7 days from delivery.
Non-Deliveries: We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 10 days from the expected delivery date.
Damaged Goods; Time Limitation for Notification of Claim:
You must check goods upon delivery, and any damage must be reported to both us and to the courier to within 24 hours of delivery in order for us to send out a replacement under our courier insurance. If a product is not available following a successful damaged goods claim we will offer a full refund. If damage is not notified to us within 24 hours we are unable to process a claim and replace your goods. It is at our discretion to send out new replacement parts for damaged parts if this is more viable. We will send out any replacements with the same lead time & delivery method you purchased (i.e. express/standard).
If you have a consignment that is time-sensitive - e.g. ordering an item with express delivery that must arrive before a certain time/date for an exhibition, then you should contact us first so we can apply time-sensitive insurance to your consignment. The cost of this service is currently £6.00+VAT per £500+VAT of the order value (e.g. £600+VAT order would be £12+VAT for time-sensitive insurance). Should the courier not deliver on time, then you would be entitled to a full refund including postage and insurance if this option is taken. This option is only available if you call/email us to specially process your order.
With the exception of custom-made or printed goods, if you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days from date of delivery for credit or refund. If requesting a refund on a non-faulty item, we reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee plus the postage cost we incurred. It is your responsibility to return purchases in pristine condition in its unopened original box and packaging. Goods with opened boxes may not be accepted at our discretion. We can offer you a courier collection service at your expense.
Subject to claim validly and correctly notified in accordance with the Time Limitation for Notification of Claim paragraph of these terms, goods received back incomplete or in a damaged or used condition will either be returned to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account or we reserve the right to levy a surcharge on such returned goods at a minimum 15% of the invoice price.
If you do not return goods within 7 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, we reserve the right to arrange collection of the item from you and to charge you for such collection.
You own the goods once we have received your payment in full. We do not offer any credit facilities. We will issue you with a VAT invoice once we have dispatched the goods to you. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
